Having provided videography with arts organisation METAL in Essex for over 10 years now, we were delighted to collaborate with them once again on their project ‘Art Makes Children Powerful’ over the summer of 2022. ‘Art Makes Children Powerful’ is a collaboration between METAL, Southend Education Trust, Southend LCEP and Royal Opera House Bridge to support creativity, connection and well-being with young people, teachers and artists across Southend-on-Sea. We were tasked to capture the project on film!
Throughout June and July we filmed at 11 primary schools, capturing the activities between 11 different artists and the school children, with the intention of providing several small high-lights video clips to be shared on METAL’s social media, as well as a 4 minute film featuring sound bites and colourful animation to drive the narrative.
